It was taken somewhere near CV-64 (USS Constellation) in transit to the Gulf during "blue water ops," meaning no bingo field, meaning if you don't land back aboard yer gonna get wet. Tom told him he'd deployed to Vietnam in 1973 aboard the Connie and it was kinda rusty. Pilot said he didn't know much about that, he wasn't even born then. These kids today, no respect for the elders.
